Responsible tourism is about tourists making environmentally friendly, sustainable, ethical and respectful choices when travelling and minimising the negative impact of tourism.
Responsible Tourism Code for the South Pacific
This was developed in 2002 specifically for the South Pacific but is equally relavant elsewhere.
Child Exploitation
TAANZ supports the work of EPCAT NZ which works to end the commercial sexual exploitation of children. This includes the areas of child prostitution, child pornography, child sex tourism and the trafficking of children.
